Was this game actually impossible?

There was a game for the nes that I reckon was actually impossible to get past level 3.

It's called lolo2 and I've just downloaded the emulator/rom to see if it's still impossible.

I've attached them to this post - rename from .txt to .zip (because obviously the board doesn't let you attach zip files), then extract them.

up/down arrows e.t.c to move and press x to fire a weapon at a snake/whatever once you've collected enough hearts (if they're blocking your way), then again to fire them away. Then you need to get to the treasure box once you have all the hearts and run through the door.

Am I completely shit at games or did some spaz manage to release a game that didn't work?

Onto level three or past level three?

To pass level two you collect as many hearts as you can then shoot the snake that's blocking your way by pressing X. It will turn into an egg then you press X again and it shoots it away. Repeat that for the skull thing so you can get all the hearts.

Level three is fucking impossible though.

Not that I know of, it can't possibly be done.

How the fuck did you do that?

I felt well stupid there.

Not sure, doesn't seem to do anything and isn't mentioned in the manual which is on that site.

I was going to but thought I'd better hold back incase something I couldn't crack in 12 years was breezed through in about ten minutes.
