Quite stylish and retro looking. Does the same person that designs these do the flyers for most of The Other Rooms nights too. Think they look quite similar in stlye....
I really love the illustrations. I think Ive seen some of the other rooms flyers but not many. Very talented person!
Wax On wipe the floor with every other night in the city when it comes to promotion and design, a lot of people do their jobs right for this night.
They're selling canvas prints of a few of the flyer designs down at Air Records at the moment - think they cost about £55 and are around 50cm x 25cm - roughly.
Our Design/Artwork is made by Happy Accident (aka Chee) , we think he's a bit of a genius, all of the waxn artwork will be available to buy on canvas quite soon in a variety of sizes... there are already some available from air records and union (i think). We have also started drawing local girls for the flyers, so you might see someone you recognise on a waxn flyer in 2006. Here is a sneak preview of the first in the 2006 series:
