got a letter from toyota today telling me my car needs work doing to it as there is a fault with it...

i've had it for 5 years & had no bother with it at all :think:

apparently i should've been notified 2 years ago that this needed done but i haven't

Sounds like there trying to get you to go in for a service . Surley they couldnt leave you driving around in a dangerous car 2 years after discovering that it was knackerd ... could they

chances are there might not be anything wrong with yours, but i think if a bad batch is discovered they have to check them all out just in case.

if its a safty recall it down to them to repair it free of charge its the law

it's a rear brake safety check

get it done, if its free.

They usually vallet your car too, well mine did when i took it for a service

get it checked then asap

you should deffo go off on one at them Ruth see what you can get be as distraught and upset as possible make sure you find a middle aged bloke to do this to and you will walk out with freebies .... If you try this with a women at a garage theyl just sneer at you those wenches are mean .
