does noone else find it really weird to go into 'normal' bars at a weekend???? know weve just had the HHHHUUUGGGEEE blu bambu topic discussed, but went into yates b4, first time id been anywhere near the bigg mkt on a w-end in yrs. ridiculously cheesy like, then went to tiger tiger, just totally different sorta environment to what im used to. whats everyone elses views on it, is it just me that finds it weird????

I go to the Quayside often with Chris adn yeah we find its a totally different atmosphere.....I wouldnt use the word werid but thats cause we go quite a bt so we are used to it. I guess if you dont go often then it would be.

I know what you mean. I do find it weird sometimes.

I drink a lot round the Central Station or in Stereo. If i end up gettin dragged anywhere else, i can walk in and think ive arrived on a different planet. Cheesey music blaring, and everyone LOVING it.

On the topic of the thread, doesn't seem weird to me at all. Infact, I find that the bars which you lot are used to weird. Vuzz and Stereo especially, not bad weird, just I'm used to more of the Bigg Market style bars, having been drinking in them for the past year or so

Most my mates are in relationships and spend their time with their Boyf's. most of my mates are seeing ppl that work away and they come home at weekends....so I see them during the week. Laura AKA some Random I work with so I see her all the time.

Me and Chris go out with my mates on most Thursdays but just local...cause my mates dont like to venture out boring I know but thats what they prefer.

I love spending my time with Chris thou as we spend all our time together anycase due to livnig together.......and well he isnt only my fiancee but my best mate and he was a good mate well before we got together as in a relationship..... And we like doing the same things so it easy.

We see his mates when we go to Promise and they often come round on the weekend and mine do too...on the decks so we all just mingle together really.

I just normally say I go with Chris but it doesnt mean just him but he is the only person I out cause he is the most important!!!

I never go to pubs with other type of music/scene really, so cant comment. Only diff is when I go drinking round the town before Promise, and its house music, which i dont mind.

Getting a bit pissed off at mo with the lack of decent clubbing variety in Newcastle, but the underground scene more than makes up for it.

i think someone should open up -or lend me the money to open up- an 'alternative' bar in newcastle...
