    What did you do

when you were younger that you have given up as you've gotten older? I mean like hobbies and interests not wearing nappies

I played Ice Hockey for Whitley Bay

    & I was also a semi-pro surfer :D

I quit Ice Hockey when i joined the Army as there's no team or anything and i think i quit surfing when i discovered Cannabis & couldn't be arsed anymore

Really want to get back into both sports tbh!

    Re: What did you do

Used to play football as a kid.
When I started getting more interested in not messing my hair up while playing, I knew it wasn't for me! :D

Also did ballet when I was younger, suppose that does come in handy with my current job though!

I think all my hobbies have changed for the worse!

    (gets out the violin)

when I was younger I used to be a heroic goalkeeper and had trials for leeds united..I was certain I was going to get picked but it came to picking the players to go forward within the acadamy and I broke my collar bone and missed my chance of glory

I then descovered gatecrasher, drugs n alcohol...that was the end of that...

to be honest I dont kick myself for what happened...just got to get the fuck on with it :)

I used to be a swimmer. Looking back, I must have been mad!! I would go for a training session BEFORE school and one after school every day. Didn't even get a break on a weekend as that either involved competitions or other types of training.

I gave up because the chlorine was playing havoc with my skin. I hate public swimming pools with a passion now, and i have to force myself to take the little one there.

Used to play the drum kit in a Soul Band - we got pretty good as well. Didn't think much of it at the time but looking back am gutted I stopped playing - especially as I went to see a similar band the other day and made me realise how much I missed having a bash along to Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye etc etc

Still got the kit so might take it up again post-uni!!

Would love to, especially as I fucking hate our neighbours but sadly my room struggles to fit a bed in let alone a drum kit.
