Your partner says she loves you but doesnt want to be with you!
this was said to me about 3 months ago and im still hurting from it, ive slept with 2 lasses since thenm but i feel totally guilty for doing it, what is everybody elses experiences/idea's on this?

If you love someone you want to be with them forever and ever ... sounds like she just said it to be kind

theres a difference between loving someone and being IN love with someone. if youre not in love with the person then its very difficult to stay with them imo, i got told the same thing by my ex and at the time it felt like the end of the world but now i realise that no matter how much you love them as a person sometimes its just not right to stay with them, shit but true

No I know that all too well!!! I still hurt now from relationships gone by. But you really would want to be with someone if you loved them .... theres loving and caring, she obviously cares for you but the love element has gone? Just how it sounds! :hug:

innit! the worst thing is we tried to be friends - i was basically txt'ing her as much as i would normally do but got nowt in return - was like she couldnt give a fuck about me - when i was trying anything n everthing to keep her in my life - tbh wish id never met her - nowt is worth the pain im goin through now

since it happened ive been drinking like a fish. feeling the effects from it aswell. kidneys are killing. i am officially george bests liver twin. anyone who saw me last night will vouch for that. i waxed £90 away in promise last night. enjoyed meself like but i dont think me liver can say the same

and tbh - no matter what i watch/listen to at the minute all that it seems to remind me of is her - i woke up the other night scared cos she wasnt next to me in bed then about 60 secs later i realised we aint together no more - felt like doing some damage :cry2:

cunt isnt it, everything reminds me of her, when i hear her name or someone talk about her i feel all wierd. i havent seen her since we split, cant say am looking forward to it. worse part is yet to come, when i find out shes with soeone else, that'll be the nail in the coffin.

I always try my hardest to be friends with exes ... because as much as it may not have worked, I still treasure and value knowing them.

I totally understand the feeling of them not giving a toss, its not nice at all.

I couldnt wish Id never met my exes, even Mark! For as worthless as he made me feel and as painfully low and heart wrenchingly ill as I got, if I hadnt landed in hospital I would never have rid myself of all my demons that have been holding me back since childhood. Im so much stronger and genuinly open now, I finally feel like me! Although it REALLY upsets me to think back to when I was lying in hospital :cry2:

I think it would be easier to get over people if they were more blunt about how they felt about you...When youve been with someone a long time you will still care about them but you can fall out of love with them.Best to just say i dont love you anymor than the its not me its you shit

for the past 2 1/2 weeks ive thought all of lifes answers for me have been at the bottom of my next pint. I've come to realise that alcohol cant tell you sod all. it can make the pain go away for a while, but the pain only goes when you realise that your young and this isnt the final chapter in your life, and what i need to do is get my shit together cos a pint of fosters tastey as it might be isnt gonna get my life back on track.
