What would you do... yesterday my ex boyfriend met me whilst i was on lunch he said he had something to give me - aparently i'd left some bits @ his house when we'd split up (we've been split up for five months now) and heturns up with a massive selfridge's bag - and in it a brand new Pual Smith shirt in white, in my size. Its gorgeous, he said it was for me getting in to uni. My mum think's i should give it back, and some of my mates think i should get it exchanged, but i really love the shirt so i've decided to keep it. Does this make me a bad person?
thanks - it's a fab shirt tho - white with double cuffed sleeves and under the cuffs has the paul smith stripes with matching cuff links and it's fitted, it's fab. Bless him. he's still an arse tho
hey as long as you dont have to give him anything in return just thank him for the nice gesture tell him you still think he's a dick but that this prezzy has gone some way to repairing his standings in your eyes . Then watch him go buy you something else
deff keep it... i would! i have no time for sentiment... if i break up with my gf i am DEFINATELY getting my ring back... then use the money to go round the world using loads of exotic women to get over her
GIVE IT BACK he obviously has feelings for you, and whether you realise it or not - your exploiting him by accepting his 'gifts' which are pretty much a bribe for you to be back in his life in one way or the other. Nobody gives a gift without expecting something in return (tangible or not). My take anyhow.
definately keep it. BUT don't let him start getting back in your life, text, phone calls... the slightest thing and blokes think they're in
