alrite dudes....

ive been going to promise nites for fookin ages now and come on here quite alot to see whats going on...however i dont know anyone...ive heard about vuzz but not sure what its all about...do alot of people go????i wouldnt mind checking it out...also whats twisted about aswell... what style of music etc....

Twisted - 1st Wed of every month. Music varies a bit between house/trance/techno

Think i've covered everything there

Vuzz is Promise's official warmup, and so you'll find it on every Friday there's a promise, upstairs at Egypt Cottage. Uusually the best of local trance DJs, but occasionally it changes when Promise does (like a couple weeks ago, Promise was a more housey one so there was a housey Vuzz...). It's a good night, usually a lot of people from the board there, and it's usually pretty busy.

Twisted runs on the first Wednesday of every month at Liquid Bar in the Bigg Market. As was pointed out, we vary between house, trance and techno, with some awesome local talent in all of the above. Our forthcoming listings go like this:

September 1st (mostly techno):
Jon Mack & Alex Williams B2B, Fizz, Chris Maddison

October 6th (tech-house, breaks, prog & trance):
Luke Terry, Nick Rodger, MK X

November 3rd (speaks for itself):
Jon O'Bir, Alex Williams, Jim Craik & MK X B2B

its by far the best & most popular warm up tho!!!

only as its the only one though!!!, the venue itself aint up to much and never has been!!!, but its a good meeting point, before promise!!!

Vuzz is a hell of alot better now that Paul is doing things properly, I enjoy playing there every time!

Vuzz is still going strong because we play GOOD MUSIC. Full stop.

Diss the venue all you want it serves it purpose and the numbers recently speak for themselves.

Equipment has been sorted out a lot since the olden days me and Scott have worked hard, and put a lot of OUR OWN MONEY into making things better.
