Which DJ's have impressed you most this year...

Well the end of the year is almost here...we've had top ten tunes what about top 3 DJ's! Who has impressed you most this year? Who is gonna be massive in 2005?

    1. Ben Lost - definately the best up-and-coming DJ I've seen this year.
    2. Matt Hardwick - he's always on everyone's list but his 5hr set has gotta be one of the highlights of this year.
    3. Valentino Kanzyani - Haven't seen him due to the fact he rarely plays in the UK, but defo my man of the moment when it comes to techno!

I could go on...but reckon we should just stick to 3!! :p

    2. PVD @ Amnesia closing party in ibiza this summer. played the
best set ive EVER seen him play.

    3. Matt Hardwick 5 hour set @ promise. Possibly one of the best

Ben Sims - Techno god when it comes to chunked up tribal beats! Fuckin like the UK version of Mills! Like Jon sed, who needs to play tunes when u can do it on the night! One of the most technically gifted techno DJs to hit it bigtime from UK for a long time imo

Dave Clarke - Seen him once this year but what a fuckin show he put on, inly had the pleasure of 2 1210s and a djm600 but when ur dave clarke this means sweet fuck all!!! He pissed all over eveything i had expected of him ,and i spent the whole night peering over the dj booth, drooling all over his records, the ultimate techno legend!

Eddie Halliwell - fave DJ in world and good, always pleasing when your fave dj plays out a tune that you told him about, especially when its the opening tune for his godskitchen debut! Made my night! some of the things ive seen eddie i could only dream of!

DJS to make it big in 2005

Adam Sheridan - cudnt stand shezzas sets at start of yr, i found him boring to watch and cud never get in to em, but suddenly by marco v @ tall trees goodgreef, he seems to have become a lot more animated behind the decks, his presence has improved shit loads and his sets have know become top draw

Nic Fanciulli - he is already doing very well but this boy pisses over anything in house at moment imo, can drop some phatt ass dirty jakkin house at times, proppa sorted geeza and mint dj, pissed all over greg vickers when he was playin b2b at sankeys!

christian kouijzer - good friend and awesome dj/producer, doing lots ins tudio wiv chris at moment and have had 2 demo cds (techno/dirtysexyunderground housemusic) both were fuckin mega!!! i think he'll do very well next yr

Slam at DC10 in Ibiza- did a terrace set with a techno set inside after- best day/night of my year by far.

Adam Beyer's 3 deck set @ Global Gathering.

Sasha & Zabiela B2B on the space terrace & for their sets at shindig.

    Justin Robertson at Arcane.

Touche at Arcane (what I can remember of it anyway)

Scott Bradford - Always good at every shindig he plays.

Going to see Garnier do an 8 hour set at the end in london next weekend- reckon that'll be one of the best nights too- should be quality

Robert Hood - Seen him a couple of times this year and each time he's been well on form - especially @ his birthday in Leeds. Needs to be seen to be believed. Super fast and super minimal. Hilarious moment at Fabric when Slam were playing before him and he stopped the music for a full 5 minutes before he started because Slam were so shite.

DJ Bone - No one works the 3 decks like Bone

DJ Rolando - Wasn't too sure on him in the past but had the chance to play alongside him in Czech Republic and was refreshing to see someone to put so much into their set.

Big slap goes to Marshall Jefferson. Absolute shite. Saw him last weekend in London and for a bloke who had a hand in inventing house, he's shite. Proper poser bar music.

And honorable mention to Jeff Mills - Was absolutely awful beyond belief at Disco Noir and made me look like a right div for telling so many people how good he was going to be. More than made up for it @ Lost, last weekend with a right return to form.

    Re: Re: ()

He was on the same line up as Jeff Mills too. He's released an incredible amount of amazing music over the past 15 years, so you would have thought he might have a few decent records lying about instead of the shite he was playing that you'd expect to hear in bars full of ripped jeans and expensive haristyles.

Lost aint the sort of party that kind of rubbish goes down too well.
