    Why has there never been a computer game as good as....

    "Elite" on the Spectrum?

    All these years of advanced graphics & tecnology and I have yet to see a game that comes even close to this classic.

    it was groundbreaking at the time... but another game that had similar impact was 'Midwinter' go anywhere, get in different vechicles, explore, massive area to search - ingenious game. Proper first person serious game around...

    by the way did anyone have cookbook and the dirty demo. for the amiga.!

    and also they still show old episodes of gamesmaster on challenge tv.... class!!!:D

    Jolly Roger's Cook Book for the Amiga. told u how to make poison, rip off change machines, stuff like that. the myth was stronger than the actual disk!
