Windows Xp Password My mates daughter has changed her XP password Then forgot the new one Is there anyway to get passed this or do they need to reformat and reinstall everything ???
the admin password? if it's not, boot into safe mode, log on as administrator, change the password. the admin account will be hidden when it boots normally. otherwise, i've got a linux based XP Password cracker that i got from work thats on a floppy. works a treat.
