    thing I didn't get though, only the bloke lived, so it was his story.... but he didn't know anything about what happened to the 2 girls, so all that must be just conjecture.

    Or did I miss something? :spangled:

    It was all just made it anyways! There was no real-life story like that. It was only based on the murder of Peter Falconio, and some other murder a few years back.

    yeah think thats right mate. They made that bit up for the film, but by him being stigmata'd i'm thinking it would of been pretty harsh.

    That is to say that there was ever even a guy, the boy could of made all that up, so he could get away with killing and raping the girls

    I spent ages trying to find out the crack about it. Was on the computer all night a few weeks ago. People in Australia were pretty unhappy about it all. Read a few messages board where they were really going off it at the directors. There wasn't any need tbh to say that it was based on true events.

    No. It was the Murdoch/Falconi case, and some other murder which was just outside of Sydney whicj isn't even the outback. They had been rumours of other murders, but there was no such case anywhere near what was in the film
