I'm chuffed to bits with this......

haven't had a tab for over 4 weeks now, last week ran 4 miles on Druridge bay in about 42 mins with stops, Monday did 3.5 miles in 31 mins without a stop, and 2nite did same 3.5 miles in 29 mins, thats 8.5 minute miles!!!

if I keep off the tabs til next september when we go to beefa then I'll have saved about £1800....... imagine how much fun I could have with that much dosh in ibiza for 2 weeks?

t'other reason i'm trying to get fitter though is cos going mountain climbing with Dog in october and there's no way i'm having that southern puff showing me up on the hills

i ve just started goin gym three times a week

Glad to see it is possible, ive tried and failed that many times i forget, thing is even tho i smoke im still very fit, kind of deters my will power a little..think i'll have to get out of shape somehow to help me give up hehe

yeah same here un all dunno how cos I must have about the un-healthiest llifestyle and habits going, but always been reasonably fit anyway.

get the throat infection I had Hummel, thats what helped me pack in on about the 367th attempt...... it hurt to talk never mind smoke

hehe it just doesnt seem to have the same finishing touch the ciggy in the GNR would have

and another... its wicked cigs last for about 20 mins at 6000m

Ive had a throiat infection and still attempted to smoke a ciggy, stupid as it sounds..
It made me throw up making the throat even worse, so had to use patches to get the nicotine into me..

same here, smoked for the 1st day then couldnt the 2nd so found patches from last failed attempt and used the chance to pack em in.

I've still got the patches from 5 months ago when i tried to jack in..
Next time i'm sick ill probs try, ive already pinpointed that date as well.
None other than just after Gods Kitchen end of the month...hehe

i ve done the same, but just managed to squeeze a few cigs in... does the throat no good, and dont even taste that good just has to be done really

Well anyone who spoke to me at GKGG would know how bad my throat was... i was in agony all th night b4, and was still smokin... and coughin (sorry bout that, anyone who was on the same bus as me ) Gotta say tho... when i got there, i had sum medication which sorted it out a treat

yeh well you mite av read me post or mebeez not, but put it this way....you find out ya sista or bruvva as got cancer from smoking that would stop you wouldnt it. well every 3 hours someone finds out they have lung cancer from smoking. cancer = death. do you not wanna live your life to the max...party on like nothing else...then retitre to a life of diggin the garden and driving supras and skylines for pennies a month?. Well I would rather than dying from the tabs. Everyone grows old.....fact of life. just gotta get on wif it.
