I was working almost every weekend since the summer. I've stopped doing it lately like, I had about 60 hours overtime in January, I got a lovely pay in February. :funky:

Aye its a bit pap like. Ive just been at work for the morning and for my efforts i got 2 electric shocks in the space of 15 minutes. Im lucky im not in A&E or on a heart monitor (company procedure if to have your heart monitored for 6 hours!). Fuck that though ive got a social life to attend to.

It was a nice little tingle. I started walking around all confused and couldnt speak properly. The fella had to sit me down then 10 minutes later the same thing happened! :dunce:

Some water had got into the electrics and even though i did evreything right in isolating the appliance electrically, stray voltage was on the boiler due to the water. Dodgy.

One of the guys who used to work for my dad took an 11kv shock one weekend..

He and another dude went into a *unused* substation looking for copper wiring.. They checked all the lines were isolated and then he went in with a 24mil.. But they hadn't checked properly!
Blew him accross the room and put him in hospital for ~7 days.

The good thing though.. as he was telling me.. was that the shock blew the mole off his arse!!

  It was weird. I dont think it was a 240v shock like - but it knocked me a bit spastic. I remember when i was a kid and got one. I came round on the floor - i had no idea how long i was there for but i remember it flinging my arm back with force.

240v is underestimated unless you work in the industry.

Most Ive had was 110v.. but I got about 60 of them within 2 mins.. in pretty much the same spot on my hand.

Couldn't use the fucker for the rest of the day.. completely fucked my muscles..

Central heating systems work off 240v AC - i must be made of steel. Either that or the voltage must have been stepped down in some way?
