Why the fuck would any one want to support a pale imitation of Gatecrasher in their home city when we have one of the biggest new nights to break into the scene here already. GK take all the hard work that everyone else has done and rip you off to fuck. I think the arena thing is a case in point.
At the end of the day this all boils down to loyalty. Do you support the local scene, basically the people who have built this up for you and made this all possible in the first place or do you fuck them off for some wide boy's who're tring to make a big pile of cash for themselves? Individual cases differ, but in this instance, I'd be very reluctant to say that if the shit hit the fan, Godskitchen would stick around to support Newcastle's clubs.

IMO Promise is better that Godskitchen - Ive never been there but from what i have heard its a box with a good sound system - and anyhow they can hardly call themselves a superclub when they cant even book the largest Arena in the Uk in there own City - then along comes Crasher and its packed to the rafters - i suggest Gods sticks to Leeds Town Hall n other citys coz i just dont think we are ever gonna see a "Gods @ NEC" !!!!
