XP installer problem I have an error that comes up everytime i load up my PC. Usually i can fix most problems but this one eludes me. Basically its windows installer loads up when windows opens and is like its trying to finish off installing something and is looking for other install files on the HD or CDrom. I have went through every programme and unistalled and reinstalled and this still had not fixed the problem. anyone got any ideas?
its not in but i have tried putting the windows disk in to try and get rid to no avail. Im trying my hardest to get rid as the only option open to me atm is taking all my stuff onto the external hard drive and formatting and re installing all of my software which is going to take ages
you can get a 'clean installer' package for the microsoft website - lets uninstall anything - even incomplete apps.
