your ideas.. what would you like to see @ foundation this year?? more promise (obviously). i think hosting a resident techno night would be good, get pete to resident the main room, get some big names from the techno world in there. should pull in a crowd.... a house night, some one live on percussion too. (saw pav live @ one hed kandi and he had me glued to the ceiling!) does anyone else have any ideas as things are looking a tad rough due to the unsuccess of soul heaven last night save our club!! maybe even a cheese night on thursday?
i think we shuld have a "totally cheddar" night where its just the cheesiest dance you can buy by the pound night, qfx, nakatomi, 2unlimited.... would be a crease, cheap drikns night ect... think we need some new ideas!!
maybe there was a problem with promoting it, didnt get enough attention due to promise and shindig, and techno wasnt as popular then as it is now, suddenly its became fashionable... think it would be wrth a try though, seems other things are failing to bring the clients in though, whats more important that feeback from us lot will be read by the managers and "big guys" of promise, maybe if we express our views enough we could get the club turned around??
well anything could be worth a try i suppose lol (only jokin) but loaded didnt pull too many in and that was a hard house night.... think it needs a something special, something big... i'm gonna get shot off the board for speaking openly about another night i think but federation night @ foundation should be really good, but steve lawler is playing at digital and point is brand new opening too....
i agree with that like tbh! andy farley will be mint!! id defo attend! get in hixxy for some cheese and we'll be on a winner there like!
know your taking the pis but it would pull the crowds in - a remember when smurf put judgementday on at the cooperage a few months a go it was mint n there was NO charva's in - what you need is prpoer uk hardcore n some gabba, guaranted (sp??) no arseholes (well no more than usual) *edit* top end hardcore dj's are quite cheep compared to other genre's think hixxy n sy etc charge summit like £500 - £1000
think he's already tried n got knocked back - tbf all people see when you hear the word hardcore up here is all the little scroats at the monkey - take note IT AINT FOOKIN HARDCORE!!
I wouldn't mind getting Some electro, some proper mint stuff, maybe getting Rex the dog to do a live set when he sorts himself out and starts taking bookings. Also we need to get the modern on they are fucking awesome. and fischerspooner
