Go to Saltburn by the sea it has one of the nicest atmospheres in a small town I have ever felt. The people are friendly and they take a pride in their town. If you enjoy beautiful beaches and woods and some great places to eat then visit Saltburn you will not be disappointed.

sadly, as the grumbly old residents refuse to let these "young thugs" get planing permission 4 a skate park they seem to resort to being the people you percieve them to be
people in saltburn dont just hang around the streets and its not full of smackeds.
Those fond of the 'old skool' Saltburn, meet in the Marine, hoping to rekindle those underage drinking days. Yeah the teenagers hang out in some dodgy places, but why would any adult person want to hang out in the middle of the woods at night anyway?? All Saltburn has are pubs, nowhere else.

The main hook up spot I would say would have to be the roof of the train station with a 20p bottle of lemonade ten using it as a device to splat anyone in the paths of people. so be careeful but be humoured.
That hallowed ground near the railway sstation. What Saltburn low life thinks that all of the kids thhere are from the jewel streets. For their information and education about Saltburn, most of those kids are born and breed Saltburn, unlike most who move to Saltburn for so called social climbing. The bad reputation of the jewel streets comes from thos housing associations, absesnt landlords etc allow to live there. The drug dealing does go on here as in ohter parts of Saltburn, the main users turn up in their cars or walking and spend the money mammmy and daddy have given them MOST OF THESE are the snobs and scum bags from Hob Hill, Wilton Bank and other areas of Saltburn. I know, I live in the jewel streets, I also know most of these OLDER kids, and for their parents information and theirs I could name and shame. The kids would not hang around the square if they had somewhere decent to go, please give them it.
Would not hang out in saltburn if you paid me. To many undesirables.
Outside the station portico in all weathers where the skanks hang around near the toilets, or sat on the steps of the furniture shop in the square. Young idiots from the Jewel streets.
It is impossible to hook up with anyone in saltburn because of all the smack heads hassling you for 50p, or a fag
The temple is a good place to find all of the teenagers on Friday nights. Also down the mill is a good place yto catch up with these little thugs.
The woods/gardens, the beach, the clock/railway station.

The Palace, a place where you go if you want the soles of your feet to stick to the floor.

If you are looking for a place to "hang" unsually you should head for stanhope park, mostly full of skaters but in the summer also full of drunks - easy to tease and far too intoxicated to give chase.

safeways car park or town hall, maybe south park on a hot lazy sunday!

The top of the bus stand is were all the charvers hang about the bottom is were we hang we are the bus stand goths. we are a group of people aged 14 to 22 who hang there the older one's of us go out to the clubs reglary. in consett they is only a few places for skaters, punks. goths and hippies to hang wich are Kwik save and story carpets, then they is YMCA, bottom of the bus stand and thats all.

The shopping centre in the town centre is the main place to be for the kiddies and skate-punks, they hangout by Kwik Save usually
The sports centre. The only half decent place where there are nice lads to watch, and you can laugh at the charvas out in the cold.Also the bench across from "hollywood videos".
consett market place or whats left of it is being destroyed by wederspoons building asingle story pub on aprime town centre site no doubt to match the hideous monstrositys which replaced the plaza cinema building. our councillors on the planning committee should all resign.

kwiksave has to be the new skate boarders hang out area. if your 14 and over there is no problem getting into the clubs i've been going out since i was 14 years old. consett is really boring and if your looking for somewhere exciting then don't cum to consett.

Ha Ha Consett is the most boring place to hang out when you are a young teenager. Macdonalds is the best place to hang out.
Bus stands are a usal place for the Chavas as we call them up here , main place, park, bowling green, behind the steel works or even in the bus stops

i remember one night, was a couple of years ago, me naz nd sam had been out down bedlington, and we were all mortal, nd nearly got into a fligh with a music teacher from our school

there's a certain pub in my city of durham, that's at the top of a certain hill, that's opposite a certain other pub called the Elm. Its... THE ANGEL. Ihave not been in there for six months now as i have decided never to go in their ever again. i think ther is a sign near the bar which say "no dogs, no scruffs, no ****s, no charvas" if all the clientele abided by this rule ther'd only be about 10 people in there. Everyone i knew from in there years ago don't really go anymore. or they've gone mad. If you want to see fights, be served by obnoxious bar staff, pay over the odds for drinks, bee surrounded by arrogant twats that are just sooo individual (apart from a few) and listen to the same 'nu-metal' all night, this is your pub.
