You can jailbreak them now, I just haven't done my 3g yet cos i had to downgrade my baseband and I don't think redsn0w does it.
You should be ok then. You gonna jailbreak it? If so download sbsettings so you can switch 3g on and off without having to go out-app and close it.
Not really like. Best thing to do is reset the data counter every month but i'm not sure if that also includes wifi browsing or not
