Yep - 125k people each being given 10 grand a year from the government is 125 million anyways, that doesnt take into account all the money spent supporting them and the jobs and stuff needed to interview these people and administer their services and things.

The figure is probably at least double or treble that.

Just makes you wonder what the government could spend 400 million pounds on if these slackers worked for a living (assuming the figures are correct) - You could probably abolish student tuition fees, pay for a load more police, regenerate a few areas, stick another pointless art show in the baltic and still have hundreds of millions left over.

Make you think eh - I grew up alongside loads of families who had no other agenda in life than to get as many freebies as possible, and thought the state owed them a living - the same people who would make openly racist comments about immigrants who came over and worked their arses off to make something of themselves in the UK.

And people say we are 'losing our britishness' .... jeez.

A diamond example of the Governments ploy to appear to be cutting unemployment

When infact they are creating unecessary jobs which have no benefit to the running of the country , in this case they have a negative impact

    absolute textbook

The 35 quid cash is just the minimum people get 'in hand' - What about housing benefits being paid for, council tax, tv license, etc, etc etc....

the 35 notes is the icing on the cake.
