so what was going on in the Brit Pop years of 94-97? blur and oasis slogging it out, pulp, supergrass and cast doing their thing - and along next to it - the rise of GateCrasher

what were those oasis-hair-cut freaks doing going to 'dance' clubs... the shame!

not everyone likes the fucking strokes and whatever limp wristed gay guitar band with crap hair and sad songs decide to arse lick themselves up this weeks charts.... phah.

I think the vast majority of them are not into genres. I worked this out by working p/t on the boat for 3 years & being at Newcastle Uni fresher gig (CHEERS SPUNKTON) on Saturday.

You are so wrong. That is image you get bcos of small but noisy minority. Most of them go to Tiger Tiger,Mood,The Boat,Baja,Bambu etc for a night out.

We are drifting away from the point now. What I originally said is that most fresher wont be interested in a trance night nowadays, you said something about guitars (WHICH I STILL DONT THINK IS TRUE), the bottom line is most want to get ratted for as little as possible.

    Sorted?
