Photo of the guy posted on BBC news:

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/4163568.stm

Clearly, he is not wearing a thick overcoat - scroll down for the pic

The statement from the officer who was shadowing him is in the paper today and makes for shocking reading.

    Poor bastard. :(

Pike, your opinions on capital punishment are here , so you can sit down.

that's no argument. that's like asking Sarah paynes parents one week b4 she was raped and butchered if they where against capital punishment (statistically they would have been) and then asking them on the same day her violated body was found in the field. any guess how they would replyed on that day?

yes pike, I've read the thread through and here are your two points:

"if he had been a nice law abiding citizen he would have been alive today

there are no candles buring in my window for him "

"dont be stupid but like i said if he was a all round good guy he wouldnt have been in the country to get wacked would he"

You can call me all the names under the sun but you'll still be a fucking idiot.

typical thug all brawn and no brain....

I think it was the fact he was a criminal not what he was a criminal for.

yeah your right joe but I think he argument is, if he wasn't a criminal he wouldn't have died, not he deserve to die because he was a criminal.

So its his own fault for being on the wrong side of the law.

when you come out with an ignorant comment like "there will be no candles burning in my window"... its a sign of disrespect you're stating you have no sympathy for his execution as he was a criminal.

this just highlights pikes ignorant stupidity.
