love the attitude from some of my fellow mags here that he can hit girls and get charged with as many assaults as he likes as long as he keeps on scoring goals.........

Ship the fucker out before he actually gets sent down (provided he manages to get out of the charges he's on already). This club doesn't need another round of arrogant, troublemaking little shits

And yes, bent is light years ahead of him

    From BBC website:

Newcastle United striker Andy Carroll has admitted assaulting a man in a nightclub.

At Newcastle Crown Court the 21-year-old pleaded guilty to common assault and was fined £1,000. He was also ordered to pay £2,500 compensation.

The court heard he threw his drink over Michael Cook in Newcastle nightclub Blu Bambu in December.

Carroll's glass accidentally slipped out of his hand and caused a cut to Mr Cook's eyebrow, the court heard.

He was also ordered to pay court costs of nearly £1,500.

See, he didn't glass him. The glass merely slipped from his hand.

Take this advice from another female board member - never ever give your opinion on football to blokes on here - they will never ever agree with you in a million years - even if you were right!

But to be fair - the above statement is a proper girls statement

He was one of the better players tonight in fairness to him.Henderson looked a bit lost for most the game but so did most the team

I thought Henderson looked off the pace in the first half but was much better in the 2nd. The role he was playing though was much deeper than he does for Sunderland, and when Barry went off he was the one playing the holding role for the other midfielders to push on.

Its good experience for him though and no doubt he will be back in the U-21's when everyone else is fit. Still has a lot of learning to do though has the potential to be an England regular in a few years.

I think the match further displayed how clueless Capello is. Jagielka at right back? Malouda was always going to torture him playing there. The England call up clearly came a year or so too early for Henderson, with Nasri running rings around him and Barry (how poor is he now?) for pretty much the whole game.

Carroll did as much as he could, which wasn't a great deal considering we only started swinging the ball into the box once he'd gone off!
