The ruins at Tikal were a definite highlight - and things like this normally bore me senseless! It's more to do with the setting - huge Mayan pyramids you can climb to the top of poking out of miles of jungle in every direction. The noises are great, and there are monkeys swinging through the trees.

Amazing.
