You should've gotten there earlier then shouldn't you? :p When I was last in the travelshop thingy at Four Lane Ends some woman was complaining that her metro had come early and so she was going to be late for work now (like the woman behind the glass was going to hit the red emergency button, get on the emergency phone line to the driver and tell him to get back to the station  )

Anyway, the woman at the counter said that metros and buses are meant to run "within 10 minutes either side of their intended time" so like if the timetable says 8.30am then it would be acceptable for it to be there between 8.20am and 8.40am. So Jill, get to the metro station 10mins before the trains due! It's not as if Benton metro station doesn't have lush central heating and great shelter from the rain, wind, snow, etc :D :p

I was wondering when you'd show up and have a go at me. :p

And Benton Metro station is a BIG BITCH when it's cold.............as I discovered last Friday night.

Basically, I like to complain about the Metros.. but I'll miss them on Monday when I'm sitting getting travel sick on the bus. :(

 Yes you will, bet you end up getting the 63 stupid bus which can't seem to go over 15mph, even on long, empty roads in the middle of the night

Tip...get an Arriva bus! The little cuboid shaped ones are cool and always have some lad in his early-20s driving like a maniac, but they get you from Killingworth to town in about 6minutes, 7 during busy times :D :p

You've obviously never been on the K1, K2, or K3. Those little yellow buses which aren't really buses but done-out minibuses. Half the time they have no number, and the other half the time they have the number displayed but the location thing says "Classic Buses - Often Underestimated" Which is wrong, they're crap. <note the full stop. They go all the way around Killingworth before actually getting to the only place in Killingworth anyone wants to go...the shopping centre or Killi leisure centre (which is in the process of being knocked down).

It's true, they are officially the worst buses ever. Should we start a thread where people can rant about public transport? :D
