    It was a fkn joke the Newcastle one falling on its arse however i did still have a canny good time at the Uni with a Serious night i think with the likes of John Kelly / Sonique / Judge Jules and Matt Hardwick who ended the night i think.

    I remem getting the bus home in the morning back to mine in a right old clip, something i probably wouldnt do now :lol:

    I think i went cyber as well :eek:

    I dunno why Radio 1 didnt continue with Love Parade the year after, they fookin should have reet!

    The Big Weekend was ok when it came to sunderland but lets be honest SHITE compared to something like Love Parade. Think they only did it here to piss newcastle off cos after the failure sunderland council apparently approached Radio 1 and were like "aye ya can do it here ne bother cos we get 3 zillion people for the air show".

    was there not some falling out with the berlin love parade people over the use of the name?

    Aye mate ya might be right about that, I can vaguely remember listening to Pete Tong's radio show where he had some DJ on the phone -somethingg to do with berlin LP- and he gave Pete a right bollocking about the UK one.

    We might never know...

    15 when i went to the leeds one, was mint, and was loving dave pearce, especially when he banged out "666 - The Devil" :lol:

    Why was it cancelled again?

    And how come the police allowed a mini rave in exhibition park?
