this is true mate, was thinking that myself, but then again i think that about alot of cd's!!! the tracks are all canny, but tbh i thought it would have been alot more up to date, newer fresher tracks, ive had the majority of them in my collection for a month or so......maybe longer!!! i check his listings for his radio station quite regularly and if he had have put half the tracks on this cd that he plays weekly on air then it would have been alot better.............but then again ITS FREE so im not complaining!!!
yeah, his radio shows are class. I think he probably had to submit the Cd to mixmag a while back too, cos they probably had to get licencing on all the tracks. It doesnt look amazing to me, but thats probably due to my love for prog, and more melodic trance, rather than all out synth-fest trance...
thats probably why, didnt think of that!!! aye the radio show is excellent, wish i had half the tracks he played on there.............plenty time though just a matter of time before the majority hit the shops!!!
pitty he aint gone on from there though hes pretty average now than when he first came on the scene imo!!!
got the cd today nathan fake-outhouse i've known about that tune for about 6 months now, still havent got enuff money to buy it
maybe mate!!! he's just went down hill, or maybe its just me???, just carnt see the fascination in scratching, just does me head in, he's good dont get me wrong, but he's known for his scratching where as i'd rather be known for my set building if i was a big name like him..........just my opinion!!!
i know what you mean dude... my mate Lewis scratches and he's realy good... but Eddie's scratching is amazing... if you listen to a scratch he does... to get it spot on, and how complexed the scratch is... it is mint (to be putting in with hard trance/house)... but i agree with you mate... i'd rather put a trance/hardtrance set together that builds and builds... everytime i've seen Eddie he has blew me away but he has nothing on the top Dj's... but thats his act innit... up 4 it and banging... i think the scene needs Dj's like that!
Nothing, is it not difficult to get licensing from other labels for these types of CD's tho? I'm presuming thats one of the reasons why they tend to use tunes from their own labels, obviously it gives them a bit of self-promotion aswell
