    BABYSHAMBLES have been forced to pull out of their support slot tonight with OASIS (July 6).

    The band were set to take to the stage at Southampton’s Rose Bowl in a matter of hours but pulled their set after singer Pete Doherty could not make it to the venue.

    A source close to the band told NME.COM that Pete is stuck in France.

    The Zutons have replaced Babyshambles as the Special Guest at this Saturdays Oasis show at Milton Keynes Bowl.

    A spokesperson for Oasis's management said that Pete Doherty's band Babyshambles failed to show without any warning or explanation at the Oasis Southampton Rose Bowl last Wednesday.

    As a result they don't want to run the risk of disappointing fans with another no show for such an important event this Saturday.
