As i said it needs more than what is there at the moment. In the union here there is a no smoking area which isnt seperate but the air con system is excellent and you cant even smell anything from ppl who smoke.

    :D

Ban it, for the fact that smoke doesn't stay in one area, smoking area or not. I suffered from respiratory problems when i was young as my mum and dad smoked like trains. I went through a 'its cool to smoke ' phase, but really people choose to smoke, but we all need to breath.

Non-smoking areas are mainly shit, from not smoking this week and smellin it around and on other people, its fuckin disgustin! So i cant imagine what its like for people in a restaurant who dont want 2 smell smoke. That could be worked on...

No if people wish to smoke, then let them, the idea of a ban in public places and work is that the majority of people today don't smoke. cater for the majority.

Yea i think it should be banned - isnt it about time the prices of fags got put up again as well?:D

Wonder what would happen if all tab sales got banned, a large chunk of tax income would go missing.

The price did go up...just the other week in the budget. 7p I think?

Though I agree, (economics...) tabs are an price inelastic, so you could push the prices through the roof and there'd still be massive demand for them, so why not? £50 for a pack of 10

I definatley think it should be banned in public places, especially bars and clubs!

Theres nowt worse than breathing in other peoples filth, i hate how my clothes absolutley stink of smoke after a night out.

IF people want to smoke, fine, but they should do it where they are only killing themselves, and not everybody else.

What happens when the owners of bars and pubs start asking the government for payment to counter loss of revenue through customer loss? Such money more than likely coming from an increase in tax
