because the deposit he had "planned" to drop off i had planned to do things this weekend with, & at that time i didnt have the rest of the cash i needed but its alright now.

I think the plan was to advertise it, find a buyer and then buy it. A no risk strategy, or so it seemed until Mr Witton came along!
