i think stephens' on about 'modern big room crasher/gods style trance', this is more trance in it's bare-est form.

there's no way u can label a tune trance or NOT trance just cause of the instuments used - thats crackers!

it's more what sasha played back in the day, unexpected, changing, lifting, rising, echoing - EPIC HOUSE more like.

    peace out

will somebody come and wipe up the mess in my pants? I think I've spent about 4 hours of my day listening to that 1 minute video clip.

It's making me a bit emotional.

It's a rare oppurtunity these days and I love it when that happens, Garnier just did it on Saturday and I might have to wait a while to see it again. It makes me feel all special when it does happen though.

this thread is so trainspotterish. who gives a fuck what it's called. A good track is a good track end of.
I had 3 hours of Mr Scruff at WOMAD and it defied categoration, everything from reggae to 30's dance tunes. The audience were going loopy. It was so nice not to know what was coming next. we did go on a journey though

Try Deadmau5. Some class similar styles to that of the tune mentioned above. Faxing Berlin is a great tune as is alot of Deadmau5 remixes

Yeah, but that's euphoric trance. In the same way that house encompasses tribal, prog, acid, electro and various other sub-genres, there is a lot more to trance than just your standard 140bpm euphoric trance. The BPM variation spans pretty wide.

Phil Mitchell = Sven Vaths yes man though
