Seaman cancelled.

Me and Paul (eyeball) went to Destination. We had a few jars there, were well excited. Then walked to Stereo, happier than flies inj shit, or Martin in some stables, whichever u prefer. Got there and i asked this lass behind the bar who i know "u still coming to Seaman?". She says "no, hes cancelled". We asked the dj in Stereo too, who said the same. We still refused to toally believe, so Paul texted somenoe he kne who is one of the managers at Foundation. She texted back "nah, hes still plasing". We were over the moon". 10 mins later he got a text back saying actually Seaman had cancelled.

Devastated is not the word. We just sat there staring at our Stellas. It was like someone had died. Finished them off and went home. No point in going because anything but DS would have been a disappointment.

Totally hammered, just finishing my 5th can since returning from the Seaman no show, having had a few when i was oput anyway. Rumour in Stereo was that hed had a nervous breakdown. Dont believa that at all.

Actually Paul, u remember when i said id heard a roumour or something like that a couple of weeks ago, but couldnt think where id heard it?

Well, ive remembered now. It was that on his website the dates for August did not include Shindig, or anything for this weekend infact. But i checked the Shindig site, he was still on, then got the usual Shindig email, he was still on, and thought no more of it.

But now? :spangled: Maybe they never had him confirmed.

Thats unlucky like, I was gutted I couldn't go....not so bad now!

The breakdown will be bollocks like, when we were in Ibiza last year....at bar M....nearly every dj they advertised didn't turn up....there was always some shit excuse.

The best one was "Yeh Lisa (Lashes) is really ill at the moment, she wont be any where for a few days".........she was in Eden that same night
