from what i remember, boxing day has a late liscence til 12.30 for bars...the only 1 u can't get a late liscene for is easter sunday!

that makes sense. kinda. not. Not a remark against u roof, but no other sundays (the supposedly lords day of rest) u can't get a late license but on easter sunday (crucifixition/reborn/accesnion to heaven of christ) u CAN get a licence? is this another showing Newcastle fucked-up council once again?

There usually seems to be a few decent 'dance' nights to go to around the country on Boxing Days, but the townies don't seem to venture out past their granny's place so town centres are usually quiet.

Licensing laws in this country are a joke. Good Friday is treated as a Sunday, ie a 10.30 bar close. But most (if not all) pubs/bars apply for a late license, giving them till 11.30. So although its a religious day, you actually get to drink for longer

last year i remember cuming up from darlo on boxing day n goin out early n meetin the spence n few others, was a gud laf were out for hours b4 promise.

was also the nite i met sash 4 1st time i hardly knew nebody but had a really gud nite, dnt remember much of the music but was bloody freezin, cant wait 2 do it all agen this year
