exactly. they wont go, and even if everyone who signs this petition went, there would be about 15 people there.

It would be great once in a while but if it was all the time again, it wouldnt keep everybody happy and people would probably get bored of it again

The night needs to build though Amy, it's not about sticking the same level of trance on for like 80% of the night and then whacking some hard trance on at the end, in my opinion. When you do Prog on before Trance it makes the Trance better and even more welcomed, and just feels right.

The last two monthly's has been about DJs banging out tunes from start to finish with no structure to the night...

Still good though...

But what I was saying was that not everyone would be happy if we had prg warm ups back at every Promise. People got bored of it before and they would again if it was a regular occurance.

A happy medium would be best IMO. Half prog, half non prog. That way most people would be happy. If its all prog warm ups, like I say people would get bored of it. Likewise, if they dont bring them back a lot of people arent gonna be happy.

I dont think Mark can win. He does a lot of what the punters want but then people start asking for different stuff, then, like now they ask for it to be like it used to be. Its a vicious circle IMO. Thats why it would be best to have half and half

Looks like the Promise kids tastes are maturing.

I suppose it's testament to how good your resident DJ is as well but he has to play what get's people on the dance floor and coming back to the club.

That's what he's paid for.

But it shouldn't be every Promise though whether its monthly or weekly. Not everyone will be happy.

I like prog warm ups but thats not the issue here. The issue is that not everyone would be happy if prog was back at every Promise.

Its just my opinion FFS

On the monthly/weekly issue - Promise is only on once a month now. We wait a WHOLE month and are so looking forward to it, and walk in to hard trance at 10pm. Its SO disappointing, after all that wait.

And all the regulars seem to leave around 230 ish, cos theyve bee hardtranced out.

I'm also a fan of the Tulip prog warm up. Sums up Promise for me

I think the night should start with whatever Promise are not plating! If they play prog, I want the bangers, if they bang it out, I want prog,if they mix it up, I want the Always room open.
