    Google it mate, I'm no lawyer myself but basically I think I am right in saying....

    A ltd company is somewhat like a person as in it has rights and resposibilities under law just as you have from the moment you are born until you die. The creation is not simple at all so companies specialise in the task and once setup they sell it on to you. They will usually have a meaningless name that you can then get changed to fit your company.

    Most new companies will either have large backing to cover admin costs or no employees (other than directors) in the first few months to a year. Also insurance isn't as expenise as you think in my experiance (well not for office workers).

    or you can just be a 'sole trader' which means all you need to do is tell the tax man you are self employed and off you go. If you want all the tax stuff sorting you can get an accountant to do your books and tax return for about £250 a year.
    Insurance can be expensiv at first if you have no track record.
    you also have to pay self employed national insurance which is around £30 a month
    all you need to be a success is to be better than everybody else..........:)

    its not that difficult (unless your a complete idiot), it does however take some SERIOUS hard work.

    Self employed NI is currently £2.10 a week.
