Just buy DJ mag, there's loads of adverts in the back then just ring round a few. They all beat each other for price. Takes a while but you save a few quid

Cant imagine it ever breaking unless you used a hammer or something. It feels pretty solid and is awesome for scratching on.

I have loads of CDR's but can't play them @ home, CDJ's are a doddle to use. Santa is hooking me up with an 800  Unless Dicky can come up with the cost price 1000mk2 for £620  He's waiting to hear back from Roni later this week.

Personally I much prefer the 1000's to the 800's simply for the better platter resistance. I find the 800 platter much looser and less precise, whether you're willing to pay the extra boils down to personal taste really. Not a fan of the Denon 5000's TBH, despite the extra features!

the 1000s are much better than the 800s, so if you've got the extra £££ then go for it,

but if you havn't, then the 800s are more than enough for the bedroom so just go for them!

don't bother with any other kind of cd deck...the fact yous ee nothing but cdjs in clubs says it all really!
