Nope... DISCIPLINE... scare the little fuckers onto the straight and narrow :D

At the moment half of them go into the army and become the squaddies we are so very proud of...

He was RAF tho wasn't he... attracts a different kind of people... 3 of me mates and me nephew are/were in the RAF.

The regular army teaches these scallies military training and turns them into killing machines... look at the events in cyprus

hence the way i said FORCES :p

i dunno squaddies are squaddies.. raf is more than just pilots as the army is more than just soldiers... my nan/mum+dad lived down the road from where pete was stationed and said in no uncertain terms that they where the absolute scum of the earth..

ive got a mate in he army who couldnt get laid.. now hes shagged pros all around the world.. winner :cool2:

seriously though i think the forces are good for a lot of people...

I agree... but they can be catastrophically bad for others, but there is no obvious or easy way around it, its inevitable.

Loads of squaddies come drinking near me in redcar and they some of the most ignorant and violent twats I have met... its not all of them... I know some sound army lads and all the RAF lads I know are sound, personally I blame the drinking culture in the armed forces

ive never met anyone fucked up from the army.. always been the oppsite in my experience apart from in america where i met a phsycotic ex-marine whos wife had died and he was out for revenge.. but then he would have probs been a nut bag anyway..

i meet far more ignorant and violent twats who arent in the forces than are... the northumbria rugby union team for example.. :)

Im not saying its a forces thing... its some of the people the forces attract...

On the whole the forces are good... but there are serious problems that have been neglected, racism, bullying, drinking etc

Rugger buggers  when I used to play we were never really that bad... few minor incidents ;)

playing rugby was one of the best things I ever did... we got thashed most weeks and then got pissed and wrecked the town... I still feel sorry for the residents of keswick

@tom - yes because the army can potentially train unstable people into killing machines... who would you rather meet in a drunken fight... a pissed up office worker or a pissed up squaddie?
