On a similar note, why do people tap the end of there cigarette on a surface like a table? Apparently it's because years ago when cigarettes came from abroad they used to get beetles inside them, so people would tap them to get the little critters out. For some reason people still do it. :spangled:

I know someone who taps the filter end on the table, he says it packs up all the tobacco tighter and makes it a better smoke. Loada shit if you ask me.

Also, this is done by taking the thingy *technical term alert* out of a clipper to pack it down.
