    i have always hated call centres when ive had to phone them up. especially when i have to try try to get some details out of an indian called 'mike'.

    but now i work in a call centre, and i realise its not the actual person im speaking to's fault, so i let them know i am angry, but at the company, not them.


    i keep getting told off at work, cos i keep getting told off because my call duration is high. This is because, if a customer calls through and has a problem, i will try to solve it instead of putting them on hold and passing them from team to team.

    and yet that is apparently not what im supposed to do, even if i do know how to solve it, i should keep passing them about between departments, just so that no1 has a call duration of more than 3 minutes.

    fuck that. i dont care if it looses me my job. I refuse to pass the buck. If i dont know the answer to their problem, i will politly put them on hold and then phone around the departments until i find out how to solve the problem and then deal accordingly...and if i get fired for that...im taking them to court.

    its just the people who pack envolopes or dont work for a living jipping callcentres!!
    like i say it fucks me off calling afgans called dave!! but us english callcentre workers (most) try to do are best to help all u suck up moaning twats out there!! :fart:

    NO its the companies fault they make the rules and they employ the nob head workers with exception of a few!!!!

    we can only do what we are told to do!!! thats the problem!!!

    1. You claim its not your fault but that of ur employer, but yet you still have enough time to spend on a message board at work.

    2. You slag off your employers using their computers.

    no have have time to do both i am slagging off other companies! i have worked in a lot of callcentre's where passing the buck is the only thing u can do!!

    i work for a good company we can answer every quiery we get there is no passing the buck and we are trained on every aspect of the job and able to deal with any quiery we get, hence me saying that if people have to pass things on its because they arnt allowed to deal with it or arnt trained on that side of things (companies fault)

    dont get me wrong some folk in call centre's dont give a fuck but not all!!!!!

    Right, so you're saying you're all hard working....yet last week you "written a letter" while being bored at work....and now you're at work again but you're on an internet forum for clubbing complaining about a comedic advert portraying call-centre workers as chickens?

    Sorry, don't really understand the logic in that. Do some work :rolleyes:
