Of course I'm not suggesting that only the British are ignorant and racist. What I am suggesting however is that we are more ignorant and racist than we like to believe. We are led to believe that Americans are the most ignorant race in the world. Well I think we are fast catching up.

And no, I did not experience any real racism in South Africa. When England were playing South Africa in Rugby/cricket, I got the odd piss take (England are shit – which I couldn’t complain argue with back then, as we were), but was never told to fuck off back to England or anything like that.

I agree about your comments on Jews. I live in a predominantly Orthodox Jewish area, and not once has one said hello. When I first moved here I decided to try and be friendly and say hello when passing them on the street, but never got any reply. They are very aloof, ignorant and have got a superiority complex for some reason. One example: I was picking up a magazine in the local paper shop. A bunch of Jewish girls come up to me, one shouts at me, holding ice pops in hand: “How much are these?” I said “Excuse me?” She replied “What, you don’t work here”. I replied no. They then walked off without apologising.

You never experienced ANY racism in south africa - be it black on white, boer on british - south africa is still one of the most racist countries around.

I am not taking the piss. I never had any racism directed towards me. I never stated that I never saw any racism. Notice I mentioned Orthodox Jews. I am commenting on the religion, not the race. No matter what you argue, it is probably one of the most extreme form of religions, and thus encourages segregation. You will never see an Orthodox Jewish girl sitting next to a non Jewish male on a bus. This is FACT, not a stereotype.

There are very few religions that don't have extremists, why single out jews - I find that extremely offensive and stupid. Millions of orthodox jews live in soceitys all over the world to brand them all as aloof and stuck up is just as an extremely racist stereotype.

If you look back at my previous comments, I said I had racism directed at me in England. I have been told to fuck off back to South Africa. Hasidic Judiasm is the only orthodox religion I have had any conctact with, an thus the only religion I feel I can comment on.

I am basing it on everything I've researched. Such as the fact that Hassidic Jews do not recognise Isreal as a state, the fact that they burn the Israeli flag. Hassidic Judaism is ultra extreme right. Any religion which is ultra extreme right must be criticised.

In reply to your comments about racism in the UK. I am basing my opinion on media bias. Three Americans killed in shooting America - makes national news here. Ship sinks in Indonesia killing dozens - hardly gets a mention. I've found that we do seem to consider 'Western' life more important than Eastern life.

Oh, I lived in South Africa from 1988 to 1996. So had experiance of both the Apartheid regime and Mandela regime.

If you look back over my posts I mentioned I lived in a predominatly Orthodox Jewish area. Orthodox = hassidic. I did not mention hassidic at first because many people wouldn't know what this meant, but as your Jewish I did. When I lived in South Africa, there were three televsion channels, and two didn't start until three in the afternoon. Media influence was not as great as it is here. Your just as pre-judgmental mate. Orthodox and hasidics are two different forms of judaism Hasidism is classed as ultra-orthodox... Even if you were correct it would make no difference as your judging an entire religion on a few individuals....

I am not basing my opinions on that at all. My arguements earlier in this thread were about the unfounded negative opinion of asylum seekers here. My other arguements included the fact that the typical image of an asylum seeker we are given by the media is of a man of Middle Eastern apperance, aged 20-40, when ifact there are more asylum seekers from Russia, than the Middle East. Infact I could go further and argue that all this hysteria of asylum (especially of people of Middle Eastern origin) is down to Oreintalism. Orientalism can be found in current Western depictions of "Arab" cultures. The typical image of "the Arab" is of an irrational, menacing, untrustworthy, anti-Western, dishonest man.

How is your ignorant view of jews any different form this.
