wow, what a night it was for my first detox..... in my eyes the best night out ive had this year....

crack was mint, music was great and every1 was rekd it was class!

it was also gud to get to know the beat therapy lads aswell, glad got that crack sorted out yas were all top blokes like

nice one mate, same applies i had a mint time aswell

too rights because if i heard "someone" saying that i would seriously consider putting that person over my knee and teach that person some manners and respect :argue:

i will have a bit crack with ya in the next couple weeks bout getting u 2 on at elementum in either sept or oct....

you need a better rig than paul van watsons for the clock like . we used the rig that was in the rave tent at the weekend - serious bass

anybody lost a phone?

i found a phone in the field at detox if anybody missing one PM me with make etc nd al get it back to u!!

class night was good to catch up nd have some crack with some ppl i hadnt seen in ages! my lass was not impressed by her 1st detox like haha - didnt know what hit her , so had to shove her in the tent at 3pm nd kept her ther til 3am haha no way was it spoiling my day like!

I had the utmost respect for steve smith

if I didnt then I wouldnt have put him on countless peak time slots on alist lineups: over the last 3 years

I am pretty sure he wasnt privvy to the 4 individuals who were giving it the old heave ho , waving stuff at me , inlcuding a set of crutches in my face and chasing me round shouting in my face obcenities

if he had of seen all that go down then maybe just maybe he would have understood why I told certain people to get out of my face and f**k off

and the only request that was being made was to start winding the set up at 755 to ensure lucy fur could get on due to the 3 power cuts

I asked to speak to him after his set , a request made via fids

I dont know where all the other stuff is coming in from and I certainly wouldnt try and flog his future sets to other djs, however it must be said that there certain djs swarming like vultures trying to muddy the waters and get in on the action

obviously he is going to get upset if I tell his lass its got nowt to do with her and to go away

but at the end of the day the situation was between me and him due to complete miscommunication and a few other factors such as djs overunning , power cuts etc eating into sets etc and I will disucss it with the djs not their spouses / girlfriends etc...

end of the day no one forced steve off , he played til 8 , but this had a knock on effect that we had to shorten other djs sets, some who had flown a great distance to play

if everyone had run over then glazby would have got like 30 minutes and that would just be unacceptable


if as has been suggested by many that I value glazza more than the locals why then was it the original plan to have steve smith play headline slot at this gig until k90 flight delay and ed real playing another gig forced other plans upon us.

what people dont realise is that logistic problems happen all the time and djs have to be flexible enough to roll with it, even if that means pulling their set sometimes as static did to ensure the event continued.

Thats my take on it, all the other gossip mongering and half truths is total guff

and whats really shocking is those who have most to say seem to be a couple of individuals who wernt even there, I would say to those people: what do you ACTUALLY know???

Haha there was one or two birds I noticed who looked like they were none too happy about being dragged along to a muddy field full of scruffy pillheads and boom boom music!! I invited mine but bloody glad she declined she would have hated it and whinged all day (and I would've had to be on my "best behaviour")! Anyone who's managed to hook up with some1 who's just as much as into the scene as they are is bloody lucky I reckon... and saves the 20 question interrogation when you get home!

(not that I would change anything about my lovely other half though! )

aye one of them would have been mine - i managed to stay on best behaviour for a good hour then thought fuck it haha i got the whole eye test tho when i got back in the early hours i definately didnt pass
