Postering takeaways in the town is like pissing in the wind, I can go up on a monday night & by a wednesday we dont have a single poster in the Newcastle area. Iv'e confronted the guy who I thought it was, but without actually seeing him in the act (which is just a matter of time) the same excuse of "it'l be the clubbers mate" always gets dropped.

It's the same 'clique' of posters, funny enough all holding nights at the same club so you dont really have to be a detective to work it out?

I laugh sometimes considering (if we sell out) the Ballrooms holds 450 people, are we really that much of a threat? if so not only am I flattered but do they honestly think the crowd we pull would even entertain there night if our was to close? I doubt it.

No specific night. It's the 1 guy that does all the promo for that 1 Nightclub, I know of a few other nights that pay him to do bit's & peices aswel but it's no fault of theres as im fully aware of who it is. Naming no names as id probably cause WW3 but im sure you can work it out.

you can never legislate for the pizza ahop manager having a tantrum and taking all your posters down tho as well ha ha

what makes me laugh is when the 1 person who it probably is says to me and this has happened "here mate theres enough space for everyone you dont need 10 posters" then I go in the next day and theres like 20 of therirs all a2 size and 1 of ours and then people wonder why we put up so many

my general rule is leave the corner of windows for the big boys - digital / cosmic etc and poster around everywhere else

proudys lot are good guys as are generally the habit lot, freaky dancing, rollies for mice , backlash etc

used to have alot of problems with the indie guys but that seems to have sorted itself out these days

haha i've been in the dog n parrot a couple of times and seen indie boys pulling down clubbing posters for night's that havn't even passed just to put up their rock ones.

that will be paul ha ha

tbh i dont know why stonelove and bullet proof swamp the town so much with them

they are both massively successful nights and hardly need the push

i think the people who run these nights tho demand high visibility for their product

It's a vicious cirlce, thats why pulling other peoples shit down doesn't get nothing resolved, it only adds fuel to the fire & all the nights in question end up not getting promoted properly, you end up getting wound up & the night ends up making more enemies than anything else which isnt good for anyones name.

Bets just to confront who you think it is like we did & make it known to them that were onto what ther doing, so hopfelly they'll think twice, unless of course you catch them in the act where you can just go direct to the club.
