the rodi style visa saga is well documented

and on wed/thurs it looked very optimistic that he was going to make it - without opening up a huge can of worms - imho - if the uk management company had of kept track of the visa situation and recent changes to uk law this would have never happened and he would have played both hardbeat manifesto / tidy xmas party and detox friday just gone

we could have tried to blag him playing on the sly just as a holidaymaker lol but then this would have run the risk of getting him being barred from working in the uk for good

re: proteus complications - let's just say that after being forced to land at stansted airport instead of heathrow due to severe gale force winds (before then getting ready to fly to newcastle) at just after 10pm'ish we had him sitting in a taxi ready to be driven direct to newcastle

we'll release the official statement after we talk with the management company

To be fair I think Friday really demonstrates how the locals can step up the mark when the sh*t hits the fan and BOOTEK was fucking amazing altho all of the djs played a blinder

Had a canny night despite Proteus not making it and Rodi visa problems.

All the dj's played class, Duffy and Buzz rocked the place with there 10pm set
