A admit a look a bit like a charva, have shaved head, come from wallsend and go to rave like Judgement Day but wouldn't cause the slightest bit bother as people who know me will verify so i agree, you cant always tell who is gonna cause bother by what they are wearing or how they look

I'll agree with you their macas..

theres a hardcore of regulars come to the club, and some of them dont give a stuff about how they dress and neither do we. they are the most up for it and nicest people in there..

We sometimes tell the doormen let some people in if they have knocked a group of lads that look a bit dodgey, then when we have heard the way they talk and go on about it afterwards as they are walking away (IE not calling the bouncers wankers and just saying fair enough mate or talking about the DJS etc) ..

Sometimes you can just tell by a persons attitude toward the doorman who knocks them back that they aren' t a tosser.. and should be in the club regardless of appearance..

Scooby - thanks for the gesture mate, ill mention it to Clare tonight and if she fancies the WHQ gig ill drop you an email.

As I said in my post this isnt just the fault of the club/night in question as whatever procedures you have in place to stop people like this getting in the club there will always be some that slip through and make it inside. My anger really is directed at the lad in question, though ill save most of those comments for the courtroom if necessary.

The only thing more that could have been done IMO is having a doorman on the inside of the club watching the dancefloor to spot incidents like this, though the doormen themselves outside the club were spot on and couldnt have done anything more.

Thanks everyone for the comments, ill pass them onto Clare later who im sure will appreciate it.

well I was a bit hammered by the end of the night like but I don't remember dancing on broken glass. fair enough there was some but not masses. I think. :spangled:
and i hate bouncers on the dancefloor it makes me paranoid. and sometimes the bouncers make peoples aggression come out so if the floor was patrolled all the time with bouncers I think it's just as likely that there would be more trouble rather than less.

I agree, I didnt notice any bother at any decent clubs when i was in my late teens but see it everywhere now, think age has alot to do with your persepective on things,

also think things are maybe getting more aggro everywhere these days, there seems to be more stories in the news about binge drinking and antisocial behaviour than ever before (well except prehaps for medevil times i'd imagine it was quite aggro back then what with everyone carrying swords and the like)
I've seen bother in plenty of other decent places and still haven't seen bother or anyone anyone getting thrown out of digital so think it's going on everywhere else too

I blame all this dark moody techy house music bet there was nee bother when farina was on:wink:

sorry to hear about the girl though, that's one of the most offside things i've heard in ages a fucking lad beating up a lass in a club, total fucking loser

my advice for people on here don't let the cunts win, don't stop going to see the djs you wanna see, don't use playground mentality of not wanting to be a grass, if you see somebody acting like a total aggro twat male or female weither it's towards you or not, tell a bouncer simple as that really, when I play places and I see any bother going on i'll always try and get one of the doorstaff to check it out, don't be a hero and storm in yourself cos you'll probably make things worse just get one of the bouncers they're trained to deal with it and they'll sort it out

hahaha Imagine going clubbing back then man. You'd be just minding ya own business, dancing along to some jester playing his lute and then some radge cunt gans for you with his sword. It'd be well scary like.

you hit the nail on the head ..BAN ALCOHOL... turns most people into utter tools

was at regeneration the other day,and a kid stodd at the front waving his arms/pointing being a dick / shouting on basicaly cos they stopped playing 'crap oldskool(qfx)' and started playing 'decent oldskool(humaniod)' i pulled the kid to 1 side n told him ur an arse/utter cock, only to reliese i knew him.....and he was a tool even when i knew him ages ago..

perhaps its just a faze, new people finding somewhere new(ish) to go to and then before u know it,there back at the oxford/ritzi/ikon/liquid/bla bla/take your pick

on the detox side of things (melt will be happy his night has been slipped in another thread)..only ever 1 fight..all other bother was sorted out b4 it got out of hand/even started by undercover staff..the real doorstaff just stand and stare...just like @ digital i recon

us ravers need to stick together, share good drugs and help each other across the road and offer lifts whenever u can (jimmy,u didnt give me any money,u o me a drink)

THE WORLD NOW SEEMS TO BE FULL OF KNOBS,IN CLUBS,ON THE ROADS,IN YOUR NIEGHBOURHOODS.. BLAME RAP MUSIC

As someone who went into the new PIG (AKA AFFINITY) on Saturday, that crowd is rough. The music was house tunes with a mega dance beat. Got in for free (people were paying £8/£9:eek: ) we only stayed 30 mins & didn't stay long enough to see Q.F.X:(

Thought it was strange how the female door women who one my mates knew on seeing me & another lad enter with our coats on then barked at me & him to take them off & carry them!!! Fooking bizarre rule. Reet up there with the old Ritzy rule of tuck your shirt in.

bit too far, the majority should not suffer because of a minorty of arseholes - however bouncer behind the bar deeming when somebody has or hasnt had enough for one night could be a wise for move esp for more "upmarket" clubs like digital. (que the "how the fuck is digital an upmarket club" replies  but you know what i mean)
