    :chill: You think theres a conspiricy ... fine .... could bve some one wants erickson out of a job cos hes a foriegner .... but its niot the point hear really the facty is the fa were not write to let this go public but can you imagine what a field day the press would have had if ferdinand had been allowed to play and then three days laters faces a charge that the fa had know about for ten days prior to the game ... there would hav ebeen mayhem.... anti drugs supports would have been picketing outside the fa the papers would have called for blood and erickson would have again been brought into question for picking a player who may or may not be guilty o f taking drugs but most certainly is guilty of missing an appointed test one which all footballers are made well aware of and that if other players had the same day Rio must have known abou... whichever way you look at this hes guilty and the tossers calling for a strike are just as bad!

    I think these player will want to strike
    James (West Ham),
    Robinson (Leeds),
    Walker (Leicester);
    Cole (Arsenal)
    A, Bridge (Chelsea),
    Mills (Leeds),
    Campbell (Arsenal),
    Terry (Chelsea),
    Upson (B'ham City);
    Lampard (Chelsea),
    J Cole (Chelsea),
    Dyer (Newcastle)
    Heskey (Liverpool)
    Beattie (Southampton)

    These will want to play:
    P Neville (Man Utd),
    G Neville (Man Utd),
    Beckham (Real Madrid),
    Hargreaves (Bayern Munich),
    Butt (Man Utd),
    Gerrard (Liverpool),
    Scholes (Man Utd);
    Owen (Liverpool),
    Rooney (Everton).

    The strikers have the numbers but the play'ers have the senior pros

    I think if Ferdinand had been hiding something at least some players would know and therefore the players wouldn't be striking. People go on about high profile players getting special treatment but it has the reverse effect. A couple of months ago a player did exactly the same thing (missed a test then passed a couple of days later) and he was only fined £2000,not even named. I guess a 30 million pound price tag has down sides

    Ferdinand's teammates are the most likely to be striking

    can't actually see what they'll achieve by striking, as if we are thrown out of the tournament they will all be at blame, not the FA.

    cant be arsed reading this thread but if theyre striking cos of rio's no show...

    ban them from ALL competitions simple as...

    i cant 'strike' from uni if i dont like an exam...

    absoloutely appalling.

    gone are the days when we had players who gave a shit about the shirt they play in. shame.

    CUNTS.

    If they think Rio has been tret unfairley then they should stick together & strike if need be, but none of them should be able to play for England again.

    Re: Disgrace !

    They could have picked an easier game to strike on.

    Big no score to the England players. Rio was probably full of smack or something:p
