Re: DJ's and their attitude They're there to do a job. Nothing else. I seem to remember you sticking up for them in the past
Re: Re: DJ's and their attitude Its an open discussion I write up about them in wondering what others think about them Thats all
Its what others speak about him i wouldnt know i havent sat and had a discussion with him Im sure he is a sound guy he's a decent dj
On new year myself and a few others were djing in a mates bar and two lasses came up and asked if I could put the Pussycat Dolls on, in the middle of a deep house set There answer to my reply of "NO!" was "Well your fucking shit, you call yourself a dj?" "Actually no, I don't - sorry!" Who had the attitude there??
I've had a few of these The start of a saturday night a few weeks back, I was on in the union, and a lass comes up (ten minutes after the doors had opened and five minutes after she'd come in) and starts up: her: "how this is fuckin shit, play some propa music" me: "such as?" her: "something fasta than this fuckin bollocks" and no matter what I asked her she couldn't think of a single tune she wanted played, unless you count "track 4 off cd 2 ov clubland" as a description
We did one the day before me birthday on Saturday December 17th and some charva came up and asked me to put fucking "Scatman John" on - "FUCK OFF!" (that's attitude for you, even if I did say followed by an enormous laugh).
meet loooaaads of dj's old and new and the only dj that sticks in my mind with having an attitude problem is carl cox and eddie always seems to think hes too good to speak to those who arent his entourage. they're the only 2 that really stick in my mind tho...
You seem to have missed of Mr Maitland....i seem to remember you sticking up for him and saying he doesnt have an attidute when he was getting shit on the GG board
Only DJ's I can say have really annoyed me were Savers, though half the Arches were calling them cunts and threatening them with violence for the sheer parp they were puttting out. Add Mutiny to that list - pair ah wallopers.
Re: Re: Re: DJ's and their attitude All of the DJs I've met have been sound. Although, to be fair I haven't met many
pfft Aaron yep Mark Maitland aswell he's never been arrogant to me + what he's done for the hard dance scene in newcastle ought to be commended
