I'd profit from it for sure (not technically because i'm dead). i'm not joking either.
It does happen worldwide though, people go out and wake up somewhere unknown in a gutter in pain with a huge scar on their torso. Absolutley shocking, big business I suppose though and where there is money it will always happen.

    3rd world/poor countries maybe - but here?

Paying for organs here totally undermines the hole point of the NHS - free health care for all. it doesn't happen.

I have no faith in the NHS as you can see, its a complete shambles and always has been.
I generally have to wait a year for a simple operation which has been the case for the last 3 years.
Each time they do the operation they botch it and something else goes wrong.
I've been in and out of hospital all my life coz im accident prone and played a lot of sports.
Fair do's the NHS is better than having medical insurance because I believe that would fuck the system right up.
The triag in A+E is just as bad, I know they are understaffed in this department and the people that work their are fantastic but to wait like 8 hours to have a wound stitched is beyond a joke.
Only thing that I find helpful in this day and age is my GP.

    Rant over

I still think this kind of thing would go on in 3rd world countries.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

We're not in a third world country tho. :spangled:

Only scum would want to profit from it in our society, surely?

I think you'll find what sometimes happens in third world countries is that locals sell their organs to westerners. I don't think there have been any recorded cases of organ theft from tourists.

Just register via the website, then I don't think you have to carry a card (link given on first page of thread).
