    Duff was on long term contract @ Blackburn, he was very happy @ Blackburn ,Blackburn are financially very sound, & Blackburn knew Chelsea have a got BILLIONAIRE CHAIRMEN all this= £17 million.

    Kewell had a year left on his contract, he wanted to leave Leeds,Leeds are skint & Leeds had to sell to Liverpool as this was the only club Kewell would join all this = £5 million
