    you what bri?

anyone can do a few chirps and baby scratches like halliwell, but kentaro's skills in that clip are amazing, he does verything from pitch manipulation, beat juggling, every scratch under the sun, spans all sorts of genres... the clip is mind blowing.... how you can not be impressed with that is beyond me.

oh it was kentaros... lol, like i said i aint seen the clip, but i saw it on the big screen there, which would be the same as what the clip shows, apart from the fact the vid might not refresh quick enough to capture the hand movements properly, there is no way the sound can be described as amateurish!:D The fact that to get to the World Champs, u have to go through both regional and national battles is a feat in itself, then to go on and win it...

wasnt comparing to halliwell. never sed halliwell's scratchin was good - it is far from that now. it USED to be, but now a just think he uses it too much and spoils the tunes..............

as for that vid clip, i just wasnt impressed in the sligthest. i have heard a LOT better, that just sounded like lô_Õ_Çô‹ÜFœxà ¡œ§ _2€²ÏÂüZÓÀWÀvLGÍÀ$,0¬ß¡‡Èå§öH“µY†5h¬Ôæ¶Ò´à|x•9§…æàÀ&VÁÀÈ5 ŠýH%€& E¾±04€£ŠY`

Halliwell was never technically that good - he's exactly the same as he always was - it sounds nice enough... but techincally its nothing amazing, infact its very basic. (although saying that I'm one of those wanker critics happy to diss halliwell when i can only do the most basic of scratches :D)

If you don't like the sound of what he's doing in the clip - then u don't like the sound of scratch dj's as thats what they do :D

I simply thought what he did in that example I gave was really good. I know for a fact I couldn't do it. It's hardly shit!

Besides, does anyone know what tune was in the background?
