in all fairness to brian it was his first ever live set & to come up with problems like i was haveing cant be easy to some one who know's nothink about how monitors work.

In a live situation its alot different then playing in your bedroom & to overcome such problems come with experience.

i'm never one for nocking people & especially in a situation like this!!

Alright folks, good to see most of the same faces at the event, was a bit of a shambles with the sound system cutting off, was brand new aswell lol. Cant really say anythin about brian, he tried, which id say takes balls, we were all in that boat at one point, ano hes good with viny but goin from vinyl to 1000s isnt as easy as it sounds any 1 agree?.

To be honest i was there with Proudy and his g/f and didnt have a clue who was on when, werent the DJ's swapped around as well which would of confused people more?

Granted i know who Gaz is and Proudy the others could of been anyone to me?

I remember when Proudy came on after Tyas i think it was? at one of the first JG's and fucked a mix up? he recovered like but people make mistakes and hes certainly not arrogant.

It's a public message board forum and people will comment on what they saw. It doesn't matter weather u know the dj or not people will comment if someone makes a mistake or plays a shit tune.

You need to take it on the chin people wont always like what you play and if you take a comment to heart and complain and say ere say that to my face it makes u look even worse.

Tyas at Crasher Leeds last year stopped the wrong cdj 3 times he hasnt came out complaining about people on loads of boards who gave him stick hes got on with his life.

EVERYONE is entitled to their opinion, one of the things you need to learn from playing out is not to rise to any criticism as you will always get it weather its your first set ever or your name is DJ Tiesto or Paul van Dyk.

Like I say, it wasn't nowt personal Gav I wouldn't do it to you, a word of advice tho, this message forum ESPECIALLY will destroy you if you take to heart what folk say about your sets or the way you play.

Its a fair comment , if he thought your scratching was shit he should say so, you need to look back and decide yourself if you thought it was shit, if it was dont do it or learn how to do it properly
